  We went for Sunday brunch, and it was very nice. They were shortstaffed but worked to try to keep things moving. The food was delicious and I would definitely go back again, for brunch or maybe to stay overnight. It's a beautiful place.

  My best friend and I had a formal tea at the Joshua Wilton House. I had a lovely spot in the corner by the window. The sun was streaming in, Christmas music drifted through the air and the lighting was soft and relaxed. The severs were friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the different teas. We were served finger foods on an elegant three tier server. The bottom tray had 4 different sandwiches, the middle had desserts and two scones topped it off. We were also given clotted cream, and two sweet spreads to top the scones. We never felt rushed and the servers were more than willing to bring whatever we asked to make our experience perfect. I highly recommend the Joshua Wilton House experience!

  The food from my experience was quite good and the wait staff knowledgeable and professional. But the way I was treated here recently will permanently leave a bad taste in my mouth. The hostess was extremely rude, unnecessarily pretentious and condescending to me and my guests. We were confused given the reputation of customer service, but certainly had smirks on our faces after discovering the tacky tattoo on the back of her neck. I would recommend treading carefully with how you treat people in such a small town. Next time I will likely take my money elsewhere.
